About the Role:

Join the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and play a vital role in supporting the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and Head of Financial Management. As a Finance Officer, you’ll contribute to maintaining financial reporting systems for MOPAC’s budget, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MOPAC guidelines and best practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across various elements of a modern finance function and engage with key stakeholders to drive financial management excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and Head of Financial Management in maintaining financial reporting systems.
  • Assist with all account-related activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with MOPAC guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial management processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address financial requirements effectively.
